Junior Barn Day: Junior Barn Day is a fun, beginner-friendly event designed for kids ages 7 to 12 who are curious about horses but might not have had the chance to be around them yet. During this special day, kids will meet the horses, learn how to groom and handle them, take a horse ride led in-hand, and guide a horse through a simple, confidence-boosting obstacle course. No riding experience is needed, and everything is taught in a relaxed, supportive environment focused on building confidence, respect, and connection. Date: Saturday, April 26th Times: 11:30am-1:30pm
Developing Softness and Suppleness: Horsemanship for Fluid Movement: Through a combination of groundwork and riding exercises, you’ll learn how to encourage your horse to move with more balance, relaxation, and responsiveness. Starting from the ground, we’ll work on flexion and yielding exercises that help your horse become more supple and attentive to subtle cues. Then, in the saddle, you’ll practice riding with softness, developing a light and steady connection that allows your horse to move with ease and confidence.
Lateral work such as leg yields and shoulder-ins will be introduced to further enhance your horse's flexibility and responsiveness. By the end of the clinic, you’ll have the tools to create a more harmonious, fluid ride that feels effortless and connected.
